Eureka Longevity Belt Kit Review

Works great on Eureka AS1001. Durability unknown but straps appear to be of good quality. It is not known where they are made - nothing on the packaging or straps.

The belts were not the same as on the Revain product page. I received the straps in unmarked packaging. After trying to put the straps on I found they were the wrong size. They were about 2 cm smaller. Needless to say, the belts on my Eureka vacuum broke immediately. I believe if the seller had sent the correct belt it would have been a decent product.

The first was damaged by burning in a minute. Inside was a living soft rubber to keep from slipping. This caused it to heat up and smoke quickly. I rubbed the second one very well with psyllium powder after it was pulled over the roller brush and then turned it a few turns to get the dust into the soft rubber. Has been working for several hours now.

As another reviewer noted, they got to the USPS with no Eureka packaging. The only thing that says anything about Eureka is the packing list. So the pictures are deceptive. They may have bought them in bulk, but they should have stated that in the ad. I've bought another set of belts in the past that I knew weren't OEM Eureka and they didn't last long at all. They worked great in my AS1001 Eureka canister vacuum. I've noticed that the brush just doesn't spin like it used to. After disassembly, the old belt seemed intact, although aged. I took a chance and decided to just replace it with new straps. Comparing the new to the old, it was pretty obvious that they were just old and overstretched. Replaced it and my old 7+ year old vacuum cleaner came back to life! The rotating brush no longer stuck to thick carpet like it used to and was like new again…

I ordered this belt amongst other options because I needed the 61120G belt for my Eureka 4703 and thought it would be nice to have a spare. Both belts burst a few seconds after take-off. I even added some lube after the first time and no, it broke right after turning it on. Terrible product and no less from the manufacturer? For what it's worth, I'd like to say that the product description says the straps are not for the 4700 models, but there are several questions and answers on this page that

Back to the reviews, my experience was similar to what others have stated: The straps arrived in a universal bag with no Eureka packaging. I highly doubt this is the real Eureka. I put on the first belt, it broke quickly. I have another strap that will most likely break quickly, so I'll probably ditch it and go back to the 3M Filtrete straps that I used. House under a canopy, people with long hair that could get caught in the brush, this belt is not for you. Despite all that, I've had better…
