💡 EUREKA Rechargeable Belt: Geared Boss Lite 402 570A Review

I've seen other reviews saying it works with Eureka EasyClean but it doesn't fit mine. Close but too small and not powerful enough to make it work.

This is a belt for my small Eureka handheld vacuum that I only use to vacuum a ladder in one part of the house. I have not had to change it yet, but I read in other reviews that it is better to go to the vacuum cleaner repair / sale. I intend to. Decided I'll have to replace at some point. Buy now as it only costs more.

I bought a Eureka handheld vacuum and decided at the time it would be beneficial to have an extra belt for continuous use should the original belt break. If you end up finding that the belt snapped, you need to put a stop to it and get upset. So this is insurance. Belt arrived well packaged. My only complaint is that it took several weeks for the part to arrive.

The belt itself is good but there are no instructions anywhere including a service manual on how to replace the belt on 71b. Luckily my husband figured it out, there is a hidden screw under the plastic plug that has to be force unscrewed from the front underside of the 71b, it's not easy, basically you have to break the plug very carefully to get it loose, without destroying it. plastic frame. I won't buy the same 71b, the vacuum works fine but changing the belt shouldn't be that difficult.

This worked very well but it takes time to undo the screws under the yellow plastic case. They look like the yellow plastic covering them can be removed, but they aren't. I used a drill and an exacto knife to pry out the molded plastic covering the screw holes, wondering if I had messed up my vacuum. I don't think it's intended to replace a belt.
