These are not tent pegs!

They approached me looking for a replacement tent pole and they looked pretty good. I wasn't expecting Paul Bunyan's camping gear. They are tremendously massive. I'm assuming they're for something more substantial/permanent than a tent, but I don't know what. I guess I didn't realize how big a bet 11 inches is. They should be labeled more clearly, no matter what they are intended for. If you're looking for something powerful, I can't think of every twist of it. They are heavy and hard.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

Surprisingly effective and durable!

We bought three camping packages when we found that both our tents and our parasol were sold with poor quality. The tents and parasols are from the Coleman brand, which should be a high quality brand. They came with these stakes that almost fell apart if you had to use a hammer on them. Enter the Eurmax product. We arrived at camp very late on our first night and pitched our tent in the dark. We managed to prepare everything and then I had to bet. I began to carefully drive the stakes into the…

Impressive customer service

I've used them for about 12 nights and found them to work on all soil types except sand. They definitely hold the tarp and tent in place well. The only thing that bothered me was the plastic ties on the ends. They were more fragile than expected and started to come loose. About 1/4 of them suffered the same fate from two different sets. I contacted the company just to buy more plastic end rails - not to win something for free. We were happy with the prices ourselves. To my surprise, the company

So glad I bought this!

So the spikes they give you with your tent are completely ridiculous. Can't believe they even bothered to put them in a bag. Seriously, they're that bad, aren't they?! So I'm really glad I found these steaks. They are definitely thick and heavy. I last used them on Labor Day and with a good hammer I was able to hammer them into the ground with no problem. While in truth it was decent land with lots of grass, I don't yet know what it would look like in more barren, dry mud. I would give this…
