I use them on masks with bias seams. I have already bent some thinner needles. They work well but still tend to flex a little when I hit a thick spot. I have made dozens of masks and folded 3 of them so far. I paid $4.25 for them, now they are much more expensive without free shipping. I bought a bundle from other vendors for $4.50.

They were very reasonably priced and since I've been using them the quality has exceeded my expectations! They were supposed to arrive in two days but they emailed me saying that unfortunately the package would be a bit delayed. But the quality of this product has convinced me so far!

UPDATE: I find Sharp 90/14 needles to be ideal as they have a larger thread hole so the sewing machine needle threader is easier to use due to the hook. Machine needle threader with a large passage range. Anyone who has ever had problems with a machine needle threader will know exactly what I am talking about.
