🔍 Size 10/70 5-Pack Schmetz Microtex Sharp Machine Needles Review

I'm so glad I found these needles. They are great for microfiber towels, which I turn into curtains. Struggling with a different kind of needle, I was ready to give up and sought help. I have a hard time finding needles for my sewing machine locally so this was a godsend for me!

I came across a project to make a beautiful but wicked satin fabric. After reading all the advice I could find on the subject, I realized that Microtex/sharp needles was the general recommendation. They worked great, minimizing fraying and leaving no noticeable marks on the fabric (satin is easy to ruin). I will use them for any fragile fabric projects I come across.

In today's world of high thread count fabric quilting, especially tie-dye, these Microtex needles are perfect for sewing quilts! I am absolutely amazed by their high sheen, fine point, shaped stem, etc. While they look dainty, they are VERY durable and penetrate through the fabric making my fabric look thinner! They work really well in combination with Madiera or Aurifil yarn!
