The titanium rods in the handles bend easily due to their softness.

Yes, a sharp stick. While all the titanium bars I've played with in the past have been stiff, these are soft and bend easily. We'll see if it will be good. So far all of my rods are sitting securely in the handles. With soft rods, mine with the red tip is already bent at the tip. It's nice that I can use different colors for different metals, so that's cool. When softness is achieved, everything is fine.

Pros
  • Has a non-rotating handle
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Good price, very fast delivery!

These picks seem like a steal. They are larger than the similar titanium picks I have. They are longer and the titanium bar is larger in diameter than my other one which may be ok as the old one is about half the size of these picks and was prone to overheating and I burned the tip several times. I will say that these picks are better for large soldering jobs and the previous one is better for finer work. So a person needs two sizes anyway. After all, one person can't have too many tools…

Pros
  • Ideal for soldering non-ferrous metals except platinum
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

These are very well made and are great for preventing solder mixing on the same pot. Red is the thickest, and they gradually become thinner to work with different types of solder. You will obviously want to use the solder that burns hottest with the thickest to reduce the chance of warping, although I haven't experienced this problem again in 6 months of use. Because they're color coated and separated by size, they're hard to confuse if you're paying attention, which is great since you don't…

Pros
  • 3 picks, blue, gold and red grips
Cons
  • No instructions
