💍 Euro Tool Ring Stretching and Reducing Tool Review

After trying this product in my Arts and Crafts class, I was frustrated by the lack of functionality. It was difficult to adjust the ring size, and it often ended up damaging the jewelry in the process. The only positive aspect was the color. Overall, I would not recommend this ring adjuster as it is not worth the investment.

Warning! Looks good on the outside, is rough on the inside. This is not a small arbor press, just two moving parts, no gears so no mechanical advantages. Lubrication often does not allow what it should be. Still, the simplicity of the design means it should work for some time.

I've only used the tensioner once but I'm amazed at how well and quickly it worked to increase the annealed (copper) toroid by 1 full size. I look forward to using the zoom out feature of this tool. The Euro Tool Ring Stretcher/Reducer is heavy and appears to be well made. The only downside I could suggest is that the adapter plate could be polished after machining. It's not critical for me, but others might be more concerned.
