No on/off switch for iron and steamer

I have been using the Eurosteam iron for many years. This latest model does not have an on/off switch. I had to turn it off every time I added water. I still love this iron. Saves a lot of time. I solved the problem of the lack of an on/off switch by purchasing an extension cord that can be stepped on with a rubber bladder that turns it off. Works perfectly.

I bought three of these irons! I love her!

I am a person who regularly irons clothes. This iron has excellent steam performance and my job is much faster with it. Although it doesn't have enough water to iron everything at once, a break to wait before I can refill the boiler is welcome! I also knit and embroider and this iron helps a lot with its steam power! I highly recommend it if vaping is important to you.

I've been using Euro steam irons for many years and just bought my third!

I have been using this iron for several years and have really enjoyed it. Just bought my 3rd and am very disappointed with it. There is no on/off switch like others I've had. So when you add water it will bubble up from the top unless you turn it off. What a bad design. The owners made a big mistake trying to improve what they already had. I'll see if I can find another brand of iron that looks more like the original European steam irons I had and buy that. I will not buy another steam iron…

Great hardware but poorly designed

I had three of these irons. When they work, they're just amazing. You can go straight from linen to the finest silk because you're just steaming. The sole is practically not heated. However, they are quite fragile. My last one was only three months old and the continuous steam button broke. I had all of the other issues that other reviewers had with my earlier models - the handle got hot (and no steam escape); If anyone can recommend any other hardware that does this, I'd love to hear about it.
