I had three of these irons. When they work, they're just amazing. You can go straight from linen to the finest silk because you're just steaming. The sole is practically not heated. However, they are quite fragile. My last one was only three months old and the continuous steam button broke. I had all of the other issues that other reviewers had with my earlier models - the handle got hot (and no steam escape); If anyone can recommend any other hardware that does this, I'd love to hear about it. With my old steam irons, although powerful, they burned fabric! You had to choose the right temperature for the right clothes, which isn't easy when you're ironing a bunch of clothes!
