Lots of pieces to match most clothes.

I couldn't use your product. None of the zippers matched the jacket I was trying to fix. The instructions wouldn't hurt. There are many details I didn't know what to do with. Also in my kit there is no lower half of the zipper. The part that holds the zipper to the garment.

Does the job - Holds the main zips

Does the job - Holds the main zips. Installation is a learning curve that could be easier if instructions were included. Medium quality zippers, while low quality (pulley) zippers bend easily. Zipper pliers work well, but you'll need regular pliers to complete the installation. Bought to renovate a tent but even the #10 slider was too small but with some determination I was able to make it fit fine.

Doesn't block zipper teeth

Only been able to fix 1 of 7 jackets. And even a solid 1 is not 100%. Zippers are either too big or too small and don't fit in the teeth. Most zippers I try to replace are YKK 5CNT or 5CNH (mostly women's track jackets). My dryer loves to "grab" the zippers in the dryer drum and spin the coat until it literally pulls the pull tab off the zipper. Vain.

Not for jackets and sweatshirts

Bought to fix the zipper on a sweatshirt. This kit WILL NOT WORK for zippers with open ends (at each end of the zipper)!. The package does not include the bottom clips to zip the jacket. Poor and misleading product description. The products that come with it seem to be of reasonable quality, so I'm giving a few stars, but I still only wasted $12 as I didn't realize it wouldn't work until I opened the sealed packages. Beware. only for the seams of dresses, not jackets etc. now i have to look for

This kit works very well

I ordered this kit hoping to replace the missing zipper on my guitar bag and after reading the instructions I was able to getting new zipper installed once i have two sides to thread. This kit was just the size I needed for the job I was trying to do. I think after reading some other reviews some people think this kit will make big zips or heavy zips. This is not the set, if you have a broken zip on your leather jacket or your favorite JNCO jeans have lost the last remaining zip this set is not

Good quality, lots of detail, very little knowledge making it difficult to replace my zips.

In general, this set contains everything you need to replace zippers. There are many different sizes and details. Perhaps there are so many that it is very difficult to determine the right replacement zipper. The quality of this kit seems to be above average. I tried swapping out two zippers but couldn't find the right one so I took the jacket to a sewing shop and they found the right one and replaced it within minutes. The second jacket could not be repaired in a sewing shop and a completely…
