I installed them on an old pickup, they are no brighter than ordinary bulbs and when the headlights are on the indicator is barely visible. It says replacement 1157, so it should be correct. I'll try to get them back and spend more money on hopefully lighter ones.

I tried them on an old car for headlights/brake lights. They are very dark and I thought they were unsafe. In daylight I could hardly see the traffic light. For comparison, I also bought a pair of "bright" LEDs, at least that's what it said on the packaging. They were a bit brighter and still very dim compared to a regular incandescent bulb.

Very disappointed. I wanted to replace the bulbs in my old car with LEDs. They replace 2 bulbs that act as a tail light and brake light. During the day when the light is on, it is very difficult to distinguish the parking light from the inclusion of a brake light. I asked 4 people for their opinion and they all agreed. I had to put the bulbs back in for safety reasons.

Bad design. The lamp base is 1mm shorter than my sockets. I got my hands on one. The ones I was able to use were SIGNIFICANTLY dimmer than my standard non-LED bulbs. On the bulb side, there is hardly any difference in brightness between the parking light and the brake light. Big security risk. People may not see you hit the brakes and hit you. return for refund

These lamps are 10 times brighter than halogen lamps. I bought these for tail/signal lights on my RV. The only problem is that they cause a hyper flash when the turn signal flashes very quickly. This is a safety feature that should alert you on any car/truck when the lights go out. LEDs operate at such a low voltage that the system thinks the bulb has burned out. Let's see if that bothers me. Switching back to halogen is possible. It's not the product itself, hence the 5 stars

Worked great as a brake light and turn signal. Didn't light up when the headlights were on. That makes them useless when driving at night! Update, the company contacted me after reading my review. We discussed the situation and it turned out that I had ordered the wrong light bulbs. They went ahead and sent me the right bulbs for free! The new bulbs work great. What great customer service! Now they have a client for life in me. Thanks again for helping me fix my error!

Although the lights have separate connection points on the underside, the ones I got didn't dim and light like the brake lights and turn signals should. I took out my standard incandescent bulbs and plugged them in and they just kept burning bright. They only go one way so didn't have to flip or adjust them. Does anyone doubt that LED bulbs are better than incandescent bulbs? I'm not alone. I'm trying to replace all the lightbulbs in my house with LEDs and now I'm doing the same for my cars. My only problem is that I ordered the wrong type for my truck. But they still fit my car and RV. So all good. They work well, are very bright and I expect them to last a long, long time. took forever. Amazon says they were delivered in June but I only received them last week. Everything was ready, I bought several for my car, which I immediately received from Lumen. I have now used one on a friend's truck and when we put it in the brake light it didn't work, tried all ten bulbs and same problem.
