Bought to replace my old type 1 gen leds for my map lights in my 06 wrx van. With a little skill, they fit perfectly and shine very brightly even during the day. A must-have for simple transformations.

. The ears themselves are light, definitely cool white. But if you need to replace the extra fine wires that come with the kit, you're out of luck. Unfortunately, all six of mine went for recycling.

It would be great if all worked normally. But alas, one burned out and two more barely glow and don't glow that brightly. So I'm not sure if the rest will survive. If this is the case then there will be more questions about quality control and whether everything you order will work.

These LEDs didn't last a week. I used them to light up my car doors and around day 5-6 they started flickering one by one and stopped working. Easy to install if you have expertise with cars. In general, I may have received a faulty product and my experience with it may have been the same as other people reviewing this item and others may have a product that actually works.

I have included pictures showing a bulb in a ceiling light versus a replacement LED unit. Very easy to replace. The light quality is amazing and the heat inside the lens with LED is much lower than with an incandescent bulb. I love everything about this kit. Low cost, excellent light output. Easy exchange.
