I've only been using this beard oil for a few weeks but so far it's my favorite. It has a pleasant (but not overpowering) herbal scent. Good. Unlike some other products I've used over the past few months, this one actually has a simple pump dispenser - it's a bit cleaner than using an eyedropper or trying to shake a few drops out of a bottle. Effective hydration and beard control. Definitely five stars. [Update about 6 months later: I almost finished the bottle; happy to buy another now]

There is no smell at all on this one. I've purchased it from Whole Foods several times over the years - always the same taste. Via Revain (bought twice to make sure it wasn't a fluke) - the smell is MUCH stronger and not the same at all. No one in the family can stand my husband wearing Revain. This is a great product, but buy the real product, not this one.

This is just amazing. Not only does my face feel more hydrated, but my facial hair feels much stronger and thicker. But what I like most is that this stuff smells amazing. I got so many compliments from co-workers and everyone wanted to know what I was wearing. Would recommend to anyone looking for beard oil and would happily purchase more if needed.

Bought this product and shower gel for my husband who loves the scent of cedar wood. Both products failed miserably in the fragrance department. None of them contain even one molecule of cedar aroma. They both smell like a watered-down version of Blue Ax shower gel (I think it's called Phoenix). Overall the ingredients in EMJ are decent but could definitely be better. This is my first review based solely on the aroma of the oils. Sandalwood - I love the scent of EMJ Sandalwood. This sweet sandalwood-vanilla scent is simply stunning. While not as moisturizing as oil, beard oil smells phenomenal. You can't beat this price! And it smells so good and makes your beard so soft! I've tried a few beard oils and liked many of them, but never liked the price. It's a third the price of most and works just as well as my other favorites. It's the only one I use now!* Note: When in doubt between this scent (cedar) and sandalwood, go for cedar. The sandalwood is kind of overpowering and smells VERY different than their sandalwood body wash and shampoo scent.

First Off. It does NOT smell like CEDAR! I smoke cigars and have a large cedar humidor. Believe me, this is not the same smell. It reminds me more of a column of men. It smells good and I'm sure women will love it; but I was looking for a beard oil with real cedar wood. So if you're looking for a real cedarwood scent to freshen up your beard, this isn't the place.

My favorite attempt at taming my squirrel beard. Just a few drops, rub and clean your beard and not only will it look good, it will smell really good too. Why Use Beard Oil?
