Great zipper repair kit! Saved me time + $$$

My $250 zipper broke. Jacket: The box holding the zipper puller and hooking the other side of the zipper has broken off. I was told the zipper needed replacing which would be expensive and leave me without a jacket for a week or more. With this kit I just picked the right size zip box, pressed it against my coat and the zip works like new! And given the variety of parts and sizes, it looks like I can fix any other zipper that breaks.

Good zipper repair kit but lots of small parts that are not sorted by size.

The items included appear to be of good quality but unfortunately I was unable to attach the zip to the sweatshirt as the plastic tab at the bottom was too damaged to attach the pieces. I took off a star because all the tiny pieces were packed in a bag in a mess and it was hard to tell what size pieces fit together. Also, there were no instructions included. That's pretty much common sense, but it would still be nice to have something that at least lists the steps to get you through it all.

Wish it worked in zippers

This item was purchased to repair a zip on a medium weight feather jacket - the slider has broken and the bottom stopper needs to be replaced. The description on the website said the kit contained everything needed to repair a zipper and many items could be repaired including jackets. NOT THAT - none of the sliders fit the zipper, the holes on the sides were too narrow for the zipper fabric to attach and slide the zipper. If you compare the upper and lower limiters with a jacket, these items do

Save time and get a set of YKK zippers.

Comes in beautiful packaging. I needed this primarily for the box that holds the zip on a full zip sweatshirt. Since most of the clothes you buy have YKK zippers, they won't fit. The size of the box looks the same, but the fit is barely noticeable, so the pins that are supposed to fit the female part of the ends of the box don't match. Not only on the YKK zipper, but even on the parts included in the kit! I had to expand the box by inserting pliers. It might not be the best tool for the job…
