Hot little PSU and then it died.

Pros: - available (or were anyway) - good cables - quiet operation under load Cons: - gets hot, probably a byproduct of its fans not spinning up at high load First month of use Comments: PSUs are dying , so I can't get too angry. For those wondering, it had plenty of airflow like the sm560 with the vented side panel and installed properly. I replaced the dead computer with another of the same model that sat on my shelf while I waited for the rest of the new computer. (Now four people are…

Be very careful when using modular cables from other brands!

Good product overall. Quiet when the fan is not spinning. However, it makes a strange noise when the fan starts spinning. The fan itself is not silent when spinning. A hard lesson I learned burning two SATA drives: you can't use third-party modular cables! I needed a softer/shorter cable for my small case, so I grabbed a Corsair SATA modular power cable. Apparently the wiring of these two is completely different (see photo) which resulted in chip burn-in on my boards! Be very very careful…

  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

1 day broken! the best in the computer and accessories category

It didn't load much, it just stopped working. Typical EVGA quality in my opinion! against them, but 10 out of 13 EVGA items (GPUs, PSUs, motherboards) broke within 3 months! Your quality control is really terrible! I know I will never buy an EVGA again because I spent too much money on a return!

  • A sea of positive emotions

  • Modernity

Great power supply for small builds!

mITX (Fractal Design Core 500) Build Saver replaces a full-size, partially modular PSU (power cord attached and full-length). The space saved by this PSU allowed for better cable management for the installed H60 (I didn't want to modify the long tubes). A short, fully modular power cable saves even more space. If you're using this for a larger case, plan for cable extensions as the connectors are definitely designed for compactness and not just space saving. For performance reference: AMD…

Great SFX PSU with BAD cables

Cheapest 650w SFX PSU on the market, great PSU but BAD cables. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The cables are short. It is advisable to provide a short cable at the SFX power supply. However, the cables are too difficult to bend, which makes cable routing in the itx case difficult. The quality of these cables is very poor. One of the PCI-E cables in my system has shorted out. Luckily none of the parts caught fire. After using the other cable that came with the kit, the whole system booted up just fine. Due

Cable length and wattage for NVIDIA 30-series GPUs

Many people complain that the cables are too short, but they're actually the perfect size for a small form factor PC (I used case number 200) . I don't think the cables will fit anything like the h210, I suggest sticking with cases under 20 liters if you're looking to buy this power supply. I was a bit worried about the power supply since I'm running 10700k on my system. and the gaming trio msi 3070, but it works great even under heavy loads. I've seen pictures of people hooking up this power…

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Almost ok

This is a cool little power supply that's easy to install and leaves plenty of room in my case for cable management. At startup it works great. The problem appeared when the PSU warmed up and the fan turned on. When the fan turns on, a constant ticking noise begins. When I noticed this, I called Amazon, submitted a support ticket, and tried to fix the problem. They then referred me to EVGA and after a while I was finally able to call. After contacting tech support and after several attempts…

EVGA support is terrible

I don't usually do this. I bought (a few months ago) a power supply that is defective and still under warranty. EVGA has not issued an RMA after a two week wait. If you call the EVGA Service Center, you must wait an hour before speaking with a representative. Revain can't seem to get them to fix the problem in the short term. Avoid headaches, DO NOT buy EVGA products.
