Good product overall. Quiet when the fan is not spinning. However, it makes a strange noise when the fan starts spinning. The fan itself is not silent when spinning. A hard lesson I learned burning two SATA drives: you can't use third-party modular cables! I needed a softer/shorter cable for my small case, so I grabbed a Corsair SATA modular power cable. I don't usually do this. I bought (a few months ago) a power supply that is defective and still under warranty. EVGA has not issued an RMA after a two week wait. If you call the EVGA Service Center, you must wait an hour before speaking with a representative. Revain can't seem to get them to fix the problem in the short term. Avoid headaches, DO NOT buy EVGA products.
