I opened the plastic wrap and took the towel out of the box and a strong smell hit my face. I quickly tossed it in the washing machine with detergent and baking soda and when I opened the washing machine the smell was still there. I did it for the second time. oh my god! It totally exceeded my expectations! I bought the gray for me and the black for my daughter. We both have very thick (I have straight and she has curly) and long hair.
