Unless you're trying to waste an arm and a leg.

The best knee pads I've used in this price range. Anything else at this price point will just fall apart or end up hurting you if you fall or push the tank too hard. It has worked wonders and made me feel a lot smoother on the bike.

Pros
  • Silicone strips on inner sleeve restrict movement while riding (exclusive to TP199)
Cons
  • Modern

comfortable: motorcycle & powersports

I wore them for 4 hours on the track and they didn't irritate me. I felt like I was wearing a second pair of legs. They feel protective without sacrificing the feel of the bike. I had to completely undo the top strap of the boot to accommodate part of the shin guard, although it's thin and I wear short (youth) boots. The pads stayed in place the whole time. I have narrow legs and size S/M fits perfectly.

Pros
  • CE 1621-1 and EN 1621-1 certified
Cons
  • Clarity

We really like it, but there are a few downsides

We really like it, but there are a few downsides. 1. You get a little hot2. This material is similar to that of a wetsuit which is meant to be lighter and the lighter material is too heavy. 3. The knee pad area and padding around the knee is really good, only this new pad has absorbent sleeve sleeve, and the material should be thin like a braided material, very thin and light like spandex, the material on it is thick, like a Wetsuit is heavier, I get very hot, I just need to change a few…

Pros
  • Fully breathable mesh bottom
Cons
  • Unreliable

Is reactive memory foam legal?

I ride in Southern California where heat stress is a common factor. It's not "cool" but they're comfortable and the material on the back of the legs is breathable, which helps. I would absolutely love them in cooler times. (In November it is still 95 degrees). I didn't slam them on the deck like that to, say, test this memory foam material. sharp stone with speed. Materials in this category stiffen with sudden impacts but remain flexible with moderate movements. I think it's a compromise…
