Not what I expected

Before ordering this I read reviews on this and similar products. The only negative I read was that the zipper was difficult to "unzip" and the insulation tore exposing the exposed wire so I expected the wire to be difficult to work with . NOT SO. This wire comes off easily (almost too easily) and is of high quality. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. With over 100 cores and silicone insulation, it's flexible at almost any temperature. Although it appears to be made for LED…

Very flexible two-core wire that can withstand high temperatures!

I've been repairing electronics and remote control cars for several years, so I'm used to extremely flexible, high temperature silicone coated wires. I've been collecting a lot of test leads for Arduino hardware and projects lately and was happy to find this two lead flexible silicon lead. It's perfect for some of my applications because the two conductors obviously stay parallel to each other, the wire is very flexible, the thin strands are easy to solder, and the insulation doesn't melt or…

  • This is amazing

Good wire good price

My first job with this wire was to make some wires for a car battery charger. I didn't want the full specs of this cable, but basically I wanted a really flexible cable because connecting a charger to a car battery is already pretty tricky. It's really fine wire, and the silicone insulation makes it very flexible. There may be occasional contact with engine parts etc. so a temperature indication (200°C) may be helpful. I soldered it to the copper plated steel terminals so I really heated it to…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
