Fantastic underwater housing

This housing is simply incredible! As my tests showed, it keeps my camera completely dry even while fully submerged in water. The high-quality materials used in its construction make it extremely durable and reliable. However, its size might be a bit inconvenient for travel and storage.

Pros
  • Perfect for underwater photography, reliable construction.
Cons
  • Bulky size can make it difficult to transport.

Great for what I need it for!

At first I was skeptical and nervous about putting my gear in a "bag" but I've used it 3 times in the pool already and love it! It lies better in the water when a load is lowered into it. I've tried using it with different glasses, but it doesn't work as well when looking through the viewfinder with glasses on, and it's more of a hit or miss with photos. So I don't actually use glasses with it. Everything but my eyes is underwater and I put my camera and lens underwater and take pictures.

  • Gotchas

Ewa-Marine U-BXP100 underwater housing is a must for this all-weather shooter! There was no review here so I bought this handy case based on the company's good reputation and a desire to save money without risking my gear. Since 1980 I have sailed the world's oceans using almost every type of underwater photography gear. This bag is handy and takes up very little storage space. Nikon D700 with MB-D10 attached for extra battery life. For the flash I attached a Nikon SB-800 with a dome diffuser…

  • Underwater Photography
Cons
  • Damaged
