The first one is broken. The second broke in the same place. See photo. The nuts were finger tight when they broke. I used the same idea as another buyer and used screws from my OEM grip to get this working. Image quality is ok. I can't use the license plate camera so I had to get it working.

Shipping was fast, installation instructions were simple but helpful. My brother has a license plate camera he put on his truck and it's such a neat setup and the picture and angle is much better than his. The handle itself is light but strong. I am very happy with the purchase, the ease of installation and the end result. Would buy again.

Overall I like the camera on the tailgate of my Sport Trak. As with another customer, when I tightened the mounting nuts, the bolts pulled out. I had to pull them out, sand off the extra plastic and install the fasteners from the original latch. An annoyance but not a deal breaker. Also, the antenna cable that crossed the RCA jack broke easily when the radio was plugged in. I bought good quality solder in the RCA jack and will be more careful when plugging in the receiver. Picture OK. A little blurry, but not critical. However, I cut the white wire because it said "Cut for Normal Image". The picture is now upside down. How not to flip the picture, and there are no guides. I use a KENWOOD device with its own instructions so I don't need them but the picture on the back is driving me nuts.

People wrote about poor quality in their reviews, but I do not agree. It's not as heavy as the OEM but still feels solid. Installation was a breeze and the fit is fantastic. My only complaint was that I can't get the lines to appear on my camera. I tried the jumper and clicked the jumper but nothing worked so I gave it a star. I ended up just using the no-line camera as it still has good video quality.

Overall a good product with one major flaw. As others have pointed out in their review, the mounting hardware is of lower quality as the weld is single point and not very thick. Any torque above the minimum value will break these welds. Had the original trunk handle so was able to use it with a replacement handle and works great. The video and power plug also broke on the initial install, but Revain sent a replacement straight away and made it easy to return the first one. Picture quality is…
