Bought for my Epson projector which is used instead of a regular TV so it gets used VERY often and the picture is much clearer than other big brands I've bought at the moment. Costs money!

Many non-brand parts are available at a much lower price. However, I've seen mixed reviews about the quality. I spent a lot of money to get a quality projector. It seems pointless to install a second-rate lamp in it. So I chose this original Epson replacement lamp and am very happy with it.

I decided to save money and bought an unbranded lamp for my projector. It was a serious mistake, yes I saved money, but the picture wasn't that bright and the screen flickered. So I bought this lamp and was satisfied with the result. The brightness is the same as the original lamp and there is a nice smooth image. I will spend a little more to replace the lamp to get better quality now.

When buying a replacement projector lamp, it is often difficult to distinguish genuine branded products from cheaper imitations. Although I have no experience with the latter category and cannot say with certainty that real lamps last longer, I decided not to risk it and bought cheaper fakes. If you are looking for authenticity this is the place to shop. In addition, it arrived very quickly. Can't comment on durability, but after 2 months of moderate use it's getting strong. A good buy!

Buying a new projector lamp can be a risky proposition given the expense involved. The lamp I replaced was an original lamp for the projector and failed at 2:52pm which I may have contributed to by not noticing that at over 4500 feet the settings were set too high need to be to allow the fan projector is on all the time. We are at an altitude of approximately 5000 feet and therefore the lamp may overheat.
