Stainless steel is better for you

I just moved into a new apartment after seven years of traveling so I needed dishes. I love stainless steel. This set is a great starter kit for the price. I used to have more expensive sets and if I could afford them I would buy more expensive ones but since I can't I would recommend this set to anyone looking for a balance between price and quality. And of course, stainless steel is a lot healthier than the aluminum cookware you usually get for a comparable price.

Good for the price: kitchen and dining room

Not as durable as more expensive brands. The handles are not "cool". I wasn't aware that lids came with steam vents, which I don't appreciate for every use. Steam heating is good for most of my cooking. I think the site listed Brazil as the manufacturing company when it was actually China. I don't like Chinese stainless steel at all. Too cheap quality. Hence the low price. live and learn Please change the country of manufacture page to CHINA NOT BRAZIL. Many Thanks.

Very cheap stuff

I cook a lot and had a very good set of Teflon pots and pans. I wanted to switch to avoid using Teflon. I bought a couple of pans from IKEA and wanted to add more to my set. Cheap IKEA pans are of much better quality. After first use to make pancakes, the Excesteel pan I used had a black burn mark on the metal that I can't remove. In addition, the metal itself became dull and took on a yellow dirty appearance after a single use. I am shocked! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who cooks a lot,

The cookware is impressive

I read most of the reviews and wasn't sure about this product. But since the price was within my range and I needed cookware for my Nuwave stove, I bought this set. I placed my order on Saturday and didn't expect delivery until Tuesday. But I got it on Monday. After opening the set, I pulled out the smallest bowl and placed it on my Nuwave and it worked. I'm so excited. I was impressed that the pots and pans are not heavy. I have a heavy set and sometimes when I cook a lot they tend to beโ€ฆ

Nice pots - don't be so picky!

I like the set. I know the other reviews are mixed but I think the negative ones are misleading (and I read ALL before purchasing the set). I can see the seal at the top isn't quite perfect, but it's GOOD. It looks good and works perfectly. I burned some food to the bottom of the pan - it came off instantly with soap and water (even easier than cleaning a teflon pan). Like I said, I understand how these things can bother someone who expects everything to be perfect, but the set is great. If you

Great set at a great price - I cook every day

Great set at a great price - I cook every day, sometimes multiple times a day and they have really stood up to my wear and tear. Love the pan that comes with it, the sides are high enough so I don't spill food all over the place while cooking. I struggled a little with the smallest pot, it's incredibly small but just the right size for melting butter or chocolate or heating a can of veggies. They're dishwasher safe, which I like on those nights when I'm too lazy to do the dishes, although ifโ€ฆ

Early review and update

I'm tired of switching different nonstick pans (Deen and Ray) because they scratch even when used/cleaned with nonstick safe products and have decided to stop using nonstick pans for me to use. While cooking in a cookware from this Le C company, I need something more affordable to reheat homemade soup or leftovers. After some research, good reviews, bad reviews, and the price, I decided to give Excelsteel a try. I promise to update after using the pans but so far I'm very satisfied. Aโ€ฆ

If you never cook, that's great!

Reviews on this set say it's a good buy. the grip is tired. As you use them, you can see and feel fatigue slowly turning into a fracture. After about 3-6 uses, 2 of them developed visible cracks at the base of the handle. If you take it half full of water you will see the handle flex at the base causing fatigue and increased breakage. Poor Functionality: I knew that sticking was going to be a little more frustrating going into this set. Question against teflon coated pans, but that's absurd. No

  • Sturdy construction
