Waste of Money and Time

As a result of my tests, I determined that this automotive part did absolutely nothing to improve my vehicle’s emissions. While it was advertised as being compatible with my vehicle’s make and model, it did not fit properly and required additional modifications on my end. The only positive thing about this product is that it shipped relatively quickly. Overall, a complete waste of money and time.

It is not functional out of the box. It turned out after the return date had passed.

I did not immediately use this part on my car because I had other issues that needed to be addressed first. That was after my return date had passed and I actually put it on my '99 Accord. It wasn't long before my car was generating code p1491. This code is an insufficient EGR lift. I checked the part and it wouldn't open. If you purchase this part, be sure to test it for functionality before fitting it to your vehicle.

Spare part in Spare parts

This part does not work. I have already sent the defective one back because the check engine light came on. Auto Zone's diagnostic code said it was a bad ERG valve. Luckily I got the replacement valve in no time - but unfortunately the check engine light only comes on after 60 km of driving. I removed the valve and replaced it with the old valve, which still works perfectly. So far the "NO Check Engine" light has not come on.
