I'm a police officer and my old headphone suddenly died in the middle of a shift. Ordered this and received it quickly. I use it for a few shifts and it works well with good in-ear volume. The build quality also makes a solid impression. If you're in law enforcement, do yourself a favor and drop $10 for it. . .

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • Useless features

The perfect earphone. I work for the police as a .

The perfect earphone. I work for the police as a campus security officer and it works great when we have special events where we fight riots because I don't miss a single radio call. It also works well on any normal patrol day as you don't have to worry about someone else hearing the radio traffic and turn your head towards the radio and turn up the volume so you can hear the radio traffic clearly. .

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Good sound, bad connector design

I have a big bug that I wasn't aware of when I bought it. Everything works well on it, the sound is pleasant, pleasant, not too long. However, the socket itself is not well made. To fit my Motorola Commander II mic (straight 3.5mm, no thread) it needs to have some tape to hold it in place. Not what I was hoping for. Other high quality headphones I have at home match my mic perfectly, but this one doesn't want to stay tethered.

Very good for the price!

I've been using them for several years now. It's 18 hours a day to my ears. I hardly know it's there. You need to cut the tubing to fit your head. They only last 6-9 months before the wire breaks, which is exactly what I would expect for a low price. I've used expensive ones that didn't last as long. Noise reduction indications are most likely due to moisture in the acoustic tube. I used to try drying them, but now I just have extra tubes on hand. Replacement tubes are inexpensive. For $30 you…

Beware of this product - cable is SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than other brands

Good product and it actually works - but unless you are very short the cable definitely isn't long enough for anything that can be hung from a belt. I'm 6ft 2in and it literally comes down to my armpit. The clip itself is designed to attach to the back of the collar (which is standard in the industry), but when you do this it can be literally 6 inches from the collar. They are incredibly poorly designed and I strongly recommend that you purchase another brand that is designed to be worn…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Low Quality Helix Earphones

I've been wearing these types of headphones since 2008 and this item is by far the least satisfying of them all. Roll vinyl started out very hard and has deteriorated over the past six months. This not only makes it difficult to insert easily, but also to hold it. Also, inside the coil was some sort of oily release agent that made the device inaudible. I literally had to use compressed air to unclog the hose and I still have trouble sometimes. In fact, I should have returned this item a few…
