A good product. Fair price.

I work in commercial lighting and use this product almost every day to read foot candles. It's a little cumbersome and I wish they found a way to build the sensor into the device so you don't always have to use both hands to use the device (the sensor keeps dangling while I'm using the device). and juggling with a notebook, etc.). Seems well made and solid. It seems pretty accurate. This device cost me more than I was willing to pay for a tool like this, but it was recommended to me by others…

Good light meter. for camera and photo

This is a well made meter with some good features at a reasonable price. Data logging is well suited for unattended recording. The one-button storage capacity is great when you need to log multiple readings but can't log them on the go. Like swimming in the pool :) What we do for a living! Put it in a shallow plastic tub (oil pan), put a towel in it to soak up any splashes of water, seal the gauge (not the head) in a zip-top bag, put on a life jacket and get paid to swim! Connection of the main cable to the meter after several uses of the device, with disconnection and reconnection per day of use. The connection went bad and the device stopped reading. The block failed on the second floor, we had just started from 5 floors, similar to the ones we had yet to do. We had another one that started playing (we bought the unit around the same time we got this one. We had to lug around general contractors to get it done. Revane said I couldn't fix it or replace it, so…
