misleading description

The description says adjustable and locks in place. It doesn't lock in place. The shoe horn spins around when trying to put my shoe on. The shape of the shoe horn is too flat. I have regular shoe horns that are much better, but it's getting hard for me to reach down to get my shoes on.

Pros
  • Can be used by people with foot deformities
Cons
  • Could be difficult to clean after use

Not really the beat thought

So Ive had shoehorns in the past and my ex got them in the divorce. They were hard plastic, one was about 8” long and the other about 16” long and both hard plastic type material. The problem I have with this shoehorn is as follows:1: It rotates, so you can never really get it wedged correctly.2: It has a spring on the end so it flexes, not really what you want to push the back of your shoe out as you try to put your foot in3: The metal material is very cold in the winter and is bending, which…

Pros
  • Can be used by people with hip problems
Cons
  • Could be too large for some users to handle comfortably

works as advertised.

love the fact that it can telescope to 31 inches. I am about to have neck surgery and will not be able to bend over. So I have slip on shoes that are OK to get on but they are a breeze to put on with the shoe horn and I can do it without bending my neck.

Pros
  • Great for those with high arches
Cons
  • Expander may be too short for those with back pain

Pretty nice shoehorn!

The shoehorn is larger than I thought it was going to be but I like it and use it daily. I like knowing that it's made out of metal and it flexes so I can use it in different angles. I think this will last for a long time!

Pros
  • Can be used in various settings
Cons
  • Could be difficult to grip for those with weak hands

Serves its purpose for my opinion

Only one small dislike- after you telescope it out it doesn’t actually lock in to that length-although it still works pretty good.

Pros
  • Unisex-adult
Cons
  • Cannot be used to put shoes on while standing

A little difficult to collapse

I bought this for my dad, who is 90, to help him put on his shoes. It works fine for that, but it is NOT easy for him or me to twist and collapse it for easy storage. The metal makes it sturdy enough, and he's able to use it.

Pros
  • April 25, 2011
Cons
  • May require significant force to extend the shoe horn

Good Shoehorn to carry in my car

It's built very light so the sturdiness could be in question. It has worked well for me. I am always changing shoes to play different sports without going back home so it gets a lot of use.

Pros
  • FOOTMATTERS
Cons
  • Could be difficult to clean in between uses
