why run hdmi? well suited for accessories and consumables

I never use HDMI cables. I always use one of these extensions. Great picture, transmits IR signals and allows me to use cat cables keeping it up to date for years. Simplifies installation and allows me to do more for my customers. I love how easy it is to install and use.

Pros
  • Bi-directional IR, RS232, CEC pass-through, easy to integrate into your control system, e.g. B. Control 4, Harmony. EDID Management offers three 4K/2k(1080P)/copy options.
Cons
  • No performance

Works well for AV accessories

I've tried several of these and this was the first to support 3D. I built a new home theater and installed 100ft HDMI cables but they didn't work because apparently most manufacturers don't follow power output standards. And boosters only work a few times and don't support 4k or 3d. So I started trying them out (luckily I connected the CAT-6A to both the entertainment cabinet and the projector!) This one worked for everything so I'm very happy with it!

Pros
  • 4K60 18Gbps HDMI Extender works well with HDCP 2.2 devices such as Roku 4, Amazon Fire TV, Fire Stick, Xbox One S, Apple TV, PS3 PS4 Pro, Set Top Box, Blu-ray DVD, Cable Satellite TV, PC, Laptop, HD Camera, HD DVR.
Cons
  • too stupid

Replaced a unit that ran from my home theater to a waterproof backyard unit. This way I can move the projector from the theater to the backyard. My total mileage is about 140ft, which translates to 128ft of Cat5e (replaced with Cat6) and 6ft of HDMI 2.0 at each end. That mileage is long enough to be able to project from behind without people tripping over cables and getting in the way of the projector. My last device cost a fraction of that and basically did the same thing. The main reason I…

Pros
  • video support 4K60Hz YUV 4:4:4, 8bit HDR (4:2:2 10bit HDR, 4:2:0 12bit HDR) and HDR10, bandwidth up to 18G/bps. Sound supports TrueHD, DTS-HD Master, DTS:X, AC3, PCM7.1
