Description of 12Ft TRRS to TRS External Microphone Adapter Cable for iPhone/Smartphone/Tablet - Compatible with Movo, TAK Star, BOYA, MM1, Rode VideoMicro Mics (NOT for Headphones/Speakers)

This cable is used to connect your smartphone or any other electronic devices with combined mic/headphone TRRS CTIA jack into a recording microphone that requires a TRS input. This is compatible with iPhone, Adroid, Smartphone, tables and more. To ensure compatibility with iPhone please use the original lightning to 3.5mm adapter. Many non-original adapters do not support microphone function. Most replacement lightning to 3.5mm adapters are not capable of connecting to a microphone. Similarly, if you are using an Android device with no 3.5mm jack, make sure that you are using a USB C to 3.5mm adapter that can be connected to a microphone. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a microphone cable NOT a headphone audio cable. This is the 12-ft version of Rode SC7 3.5mm TRS (3-pole) to TRRS (4-pole) Coiled Patch Cable. It is designed to connect VideoMic, VideoMicro Go, BOYA, and More External Mic to TRRS compatible products. Great with Youtube Vlogging Facebook Livestream. ienza is a registered trademark and a registered Amazon brand. Enhanced sound without using adapters.

Wow, excellent product. Before using this cable, I had to use an adapter, a cable, and another adapter. The sound quality has suffered, now everything works fine without interruptions from the adapter. i quality.

Cons
  • Not sure

I had to send it back. User error or bad item?

This is difficult for me because I had to send it back because of the loud clicking. I don't know if it was just not compatible with my devices, user error, or a defective item. I really thought it felt good quality when I received it. I didn't have much time so I didn't reorder, but I may do and then update the review.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Without automatic

The audio is terrible for a stereo jack cable

I bought this cable to connect a Rode microphone to my iPhone. After receiving it, I ran some audio tests. Very still, with no movement of the microphone, a buzzing sound can be heard, almost like a hum. If I even touch the mic, I get all sorts of spikes and pops. Terrible quality, don't bother with this cable

Pros
  • Decent performance

Terrible sound quality

Connected to the iPhone and then to the speaker. It has constant background static and clicks. The volume coming out of the speaker through this cable is low no matter how I turn the volume up. I think it could be a manufacturing error. has contacted Ienza and is awaiting her reply. as they claim 100% quality assurance.

Loud noise - unsuitable for use with AV accessories

I have an external microphone with a shorter cable and needed a longer cable and bought this 12 inch cable. The cable works, but makes a lot of noise. I tried the cable on 2 different interfaces; directly and USB and still hisses. Use a shorter cable, no noise. I have to use this mic for recording and the hiss is terrible. Unfortunately, this cable is not suitable.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • No power

Product Description WRONG, this is not a microphone cable

This product is NOT compatible with TRRS Audio I/O Adapters for iPhone or iPad. This is a TRRS Headphone Listening Cable that adapts from audio output via TRRS connectors on smartphones, tablets and laptops to a TRS output device such as vintage headphones, home stereo or audio mixer. While the actual function of the cable may be useful to some customers, it is not sold as is and I did not order it.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Some Cons

The sound is awful best in Cables & Interconnects
