There are two in the package but I had trouble with one of the strings from the start. I'm pretty sure it's a solar panel as the power button is soft to the touch. Now I can't get it to work at all. It gets the same amount of sunlight as the other set in the box. This is disappointing because the kit that actually works is exactly what I wanted, the settings, the size and the brightness of the light, it just takes more than one string for the area I'm lighting. I will not buy this set again.

We bought 10 of these for the palm trees in front of our house. So easy. Excellent price. They last all night (about 10 hours) and then go from dusk to dawn without any action on our part. The PROBLEM is that there are about 10 modes and the mode changes randomly on each tree every day. I thought my husband was playing a prank on me. But unfortunately he is not. So when you drive us to our house, each tree does something new every day, no matter how many times I put it back into always-on mode.

These solar lights are good... for the ten minutes they're on. And I have to press the power button to turn them on - they're not automatic. Took me about an hour to install because they wound up the wrong way and I had to unwind and rewind. I charged them in my dining room for a week and even after just a day they turned on when it got dark. We left them on for the first 2 nights after hanging them up and they would turn on for a maximum of 15 minutes and then turn off.
