3/4 " wide collar is too small for a giant breed dog

I think the collar is good quality but the collar width is too small for a giant breed dog with a 24.5" Throat. 30" tall at the shoulders and weighs 145 pounds. It would be fine for a medium sized dog. It didn't look like it on my dog. I had to return it.

Adjustable: Collars

My puppy is available in between sizes at local pet stores. It is great. Can adapt to it and adapt again as it grows. She is 40lbs + Labrador/Shepherd/Husky (she is only 9 months old) and this collar is fantastic.

Pros
  • Collars
Cons
  • Damaged

NOT HEAVY DUTY Collars

I bought this collar thinking it would be thick and strong. I have a big dog who likes to pull. This thin collar has a thin plastic clasp. I don't expect the collar to last too long and I rather doubt that the plastic clip will hold up to heavy use.

Nice collar, good looking and well made

I was hesitant to order a new collar for my dog. In recent years, he developed a dislike for her. He had one very similar to this one (but wider) when he was younger. But eventually it wore out. He didn't wear it for several months and I haven't been able to get him to wear it since. He scratches them and rubs them against the log wall or plaster on the side of the house until he gets them off. I don't know what he did with the last one. He just disappeared. It was three years ago. It may have…

Pros
  • Collars, harnesses and leashes
Cons
  • poorly thought out
