🐾 Premium Twisted Electric Dog Fence Wire: 16 Gauge - Various Lengths Review

As advertised. I've repaired a broken wire in the past, but this requires a tedious search for breaks. It's easier to reroute the wiring around the perimeter. Of course, burying the wire is troublesome.

When I was missing this wire in my dog fence project, I found a YouTube video on how easy it is to make my own. Wrap the wire around the fence post and insert the two ends into the drill. Tighten the chuck and turn on the drill to create an easy and less expensive twisted pair.

The wire is as advertised but when connected to my 14 gauge loop the 16 gauge wire seemed very brittle and broke nuts 3 times. I've never had this problem. It seems to me that this could become a serious problem in the future. I bought this because the 14 gauge single strand is too stiff to twist long distances. I would look at different brands.
