Not fit for automotive application

According to my experience, these backer studs are not suitable for use in automotive applications. While they are designed for heavy-duty equipment, they do not hold up well under the stresses and strains put on them in a car or truck. The only pro is that they may work well in other types of machinery. However, the major con is that they simply do not do the job they are intended for in the automotive industry.

Pros
  • Provides a secure attachment for studs
Cons
  • Requires drilling holes in the snowmobile track

Good but short for 2up

1999 Artic Cat 2up. If you have a two-seat snowmobile, you need a 108 stud, not a 96 stud. When I got into the snowmobile, I found the 96th spike. Yes, I could count every run on the track. It looks like it will work fine except for the 12 studs that are missing on the track.

Pros
  • Dream come true
Cons
  • There are downsides

Worth every penny, the best high-performance tires, wheels and hubs

I found this kit to be excellent quality and includes everything needed for installation except a drill. Allow a few hours for the installation. After installation I noticed that the performance (both starting and braking) of my track/sled improved significantly even on bare ice. Perfect fit for my 2012 Ski-doo Renegade 550.

Pros
  • Got it!
Cons
  • Expensive
