Short collar life

While charging, the device went into a constant vibration mode and could not be turned off. I had to move him to another room until the battery died to stop him. My dog got used to the sound and vibration so after a few weeks they stopped working.

Not suitable for short necked dogs

I bought this for a 10 lb Havana breed dog with a short neck. It is too high to fit under the dog's head with the collar. This caused my dog to raise his head and he couldn't see his legs. If you have a short neck, this is not suitable.

Ephemeral Collars

Not suitable for dogs with a short neck.

I bought this for a Havanese, a short necked 10 pound dog. It is too high to fit under the dog's head with the collar. This caused my dog to raise his head and he couldn't see his legs. If you have a short neck, this is not suitable.

I do not recommend. Best in Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

Disappointed. Detextates only about 1/3 of her bark! If it growls (below device detection) it won't activate, and if it yelps/yelps (bypassing device detection) it won't activate, even at "high sensitivity". " in a high pitched tone or growl. Even if he detects her barking, the "beep" doesn't help to stop her barking, she just doesn't like the vibration (but it only activates in the 3rd case). Will send it back and look for another collar :(

Good First Impression (No gift certificate for a 5 star rating! That's good.)

First Impression: See photo for 11lb Shih Tzu Terrier mix. I used to have an Authun beep, vibrate and shock collar but it left sores and balding on my neck from the prongs and I never used the shock function. See my review for my issues with it.
