I used this to replace the lamps I had installed to illuminate the area around my truck. Early flashlights had a very bright center spot and a faint outer spot. It's definitely a very evenly distributed flood pattern and very bright. The usable lighting distance is at least 40 feet. I will be buying more of these to have spares in case I break one or install on other equipment as needed. If you're looking for good light output, they'll get the job done! Much luck! God bless!

These lanterns are actually very profitable. For $30 this is great quality. Connected to a Milwaukee 18v battery they did a great job! However, on the factory packaging they arrived in, the operating voltage was 9-60 volts. I connected them to a 48V battery and fried them instantly. So I walked in to check the specs of their Revain description and one says 12-24v and the other says 9-30v. I bought another pair because they are a great price but the factory packaging didn't trust, which says 9-.

Those bright lights! And I don't just mean bright, I mean "you will see Jesus" bright. I connected all of these 2 wires to the back of my closed trailer to have lights on the circuit. I like the sturdy body and hardware. According to stainless steel the magnet has a slight attraction to the mounting brackets so apparently not the best stainless steel but they don't lie and only ship cheap galvanized steel. I used them as headlights/spotlights on my Tracker 175. I mounted them to the RAM mount in the bow and plugged them into a 12V SAE connector that is typically used for solar panels. .
