Not for Soap

I would not recommend this mica in any soap making. I tried it at CP and it's completely cream again. In Eye Candy's defense, they don't specifically advertise CP soap. However, there is a "melt and pour" item in their description. I tried again in this application, both clear and white based. None of the flowers looked bluish green. The soap is currently a chaotic mass of bluish gray color. In the transparent base I could see the blue and green "dancing" but not together. Like they're trying…

Silver-blue mica powder instead of "macaw green "

I was excited to use this mica powder which looks quite dark in the picture as most of the mica powders I've seen are almost pastel colored. It doesn't look like the picture. Green is not visible. The color is silvery blue, possibly with a slight gray tinge. For comparison, I placed juice caps from well-known brands next to the product, as well as a cloth bag with several shades of blue. Great product

I've been buying these mica powders for a while now, they offer amazing colors, cause no side effects (I use them for cold cut soaps which can be VERY volatile), easy to use and great value. Anxiety when you receive a glass that looks half full. I don't have a completely empty can for the exact weight of the container itself, but hopefully my photos can provide some relief? The lid itself weighs 10 g, the container itself without the lid weighs the same and maybe more (just an estimate). But…
