Funny eye patch good for seeing

We need a new patch every 6 months for our 5 year old who has squints. We patch it 2-3 hours a day. Her ophthalmologist is pleased with her progress. She still loves the purple with the rainbow unicorn so we keep buying it!

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • so far so good

Not suitable for small glasses

I give 2 stars because the idea is good but didn't work for my daughter, maybe it would be better for bigger kids (she is 3 years old) but for that reason her glasses moved away from her face and didn't completely cover her eyes.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Can't do it instead of fixing it

The idea was good but the execution left a lot to be desired. It was very difficult to apply to my 2 year old's glasses. And it does NOT block all light so they can still see. My doctor said this is by no means a substitute for a bandage when the eye needs to be completely closed and is not being used to force the weaker eye to focus.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging
