🖤 Black Magic Mascara Eyeko Count Review

I tried this product for the first time in my makeup bag and I liked it. I decided to treat myself and order one and was very disappointed that it wasn't at all. This one is like a smelly waterproof paste that sticks all your lashes together. If you're done in a blink of an eye, then this might be for you. I usually apply 2 or 3 coats and I can't build up with this mascara. I have long eyelashes and this makes them long and sticky. It's a weird sticky mess.

This is my favorite mascara and I've tried them all: waterproof, fashion brands, CVS brands in all price ranges. I have sensitive eyes and have found that with other mascaras, my natural lashes often fall off when removing makeup and my eyes sting if I have ever had watery eyes. I was hesitant because of the price (I'm a drugstore fan) but I took a chance and I really liked this mascara. I'm lucky enough to have long and thick lashes, but they're heavy and most mascaras don't lift them. This stuff shoots and lasts all day! My lashes look just as good as they did after a chemical lash lift so I'm very satisfied. I also have fairly sensitive eyes and haven't had any irritation. Definitely recommend.

The pigment seemed good looking for something new with volume and length. I opened the package and went to apply, inside the brush is a comb with dried mascara (like it dried or was in someone's makeup bag before I received it). I really wanted to like this product so I went as far as using a fresh pencil and applying 2 coats. I felt it peel off within 2 hours (not for contact lens wearers), I had a black smudge to just do a smoky eye like I was working on a Halloween look. I don't recommend…

I don't understand the rave reviews. This mascara doesn't give the dramatic length/volume/curl it claims. (As for curl, the first layer straightened my lashes after I just curled them with an eyelash curler.) I used to use mascara with a "natural" look, but it wasn't advertised that way, and to be honest , at this premium price. I expected more in the price range.
