They are really small and I had to change the lacing as the Home Depot paracord didn't go through the grommets. I also found that while the outer surface remained perfect, the inner surface of the lug deformed when the clamshell type device was used.

I bought other bushings of the same size from Michaels before buying this one. They are advertised as the same size but they appear to be very small. But I can get it to work. Would have liked a little more than my others. Overall not bad, ok for the price.

The packaging is simple and easy to open. It won't matter to many, but as an arthritis sufferer it makes a difference in my order. The grommets are strong but not what I would call heavy duty. This eyelet worked well in two layers of thin skin, although the back was difficult to manipulate. It was more difficult to use on Kydex (holster materials) because the tab simply isn't strong enough to "bite" into the material. Overall I would order this again just for use on leather and fabric.
