I subscribe to a few sample boxes and I always buy eye shadows in a magnetic jar, but I used to keep them in the packaging. Received a large one to meet storage needs so I can throw away the packaging. Now I can see the colors I have instead of forgetting them in the back of a drawer. The magnet is strong, I hold it to my side.

Was looking for a lightweight palette in a smaller size to use on the go or to take with me for touch ups, it's great. It has everything I need (blush, bronzer, highlighter and 6 eye shadows). The mermaid bowl is also very beautiful. Personally, it's not my style, but the options are pretty limited when it comes to affordable magnetic pallets. The exterior of the case is great. The magnetic part inside has the right strength. I want it to be a little deeper so I can fit the brush in. I would also be willing to pay a few bucks more if there was a mirror inside. I am very happy with my purchase and very happy that I was able to remove the shadows that were in the clumsy case and put it in this one!

The outer shell is very shiny and iridescent. The colors I see are green, purple, blue, peach and possibly gold. The outside wipes down easily, but I wouldn't put water on it. The inside is made of paper/cardboard. I highly recommend sealing it with ModPodge (I used a matte formula) or your choice of sealer. The bottom of the palette is magnetic. I really like this magnetic cosmetic bag. It's well made, especially at a great price. I used mine to apply highlighter and cheek colors. I'm thinking about getting another one for applying eyeshadow. juggles. Highly recommended and plan to buy again.

This is perfect for all my random eyeshadow capsules that I get from my monthly makeup subscription. The quality is cheaper than what I ruled out but I'm glad I bought it.

The palette came a little flattened so the black part that makes up the 'walls' of the palette doesn't sit straight, and the top/bottom is not quite rigid, so not very durable. I was able to mostly push the magnet back, but it's not exactly a hard surface. I've seen reviews calling this a permanent palette so it's disappointing. My magnet isn't very strong but it works and I agree it's very nice and compact.
