These candles are listed as using CR2032 batteries. That is not true. The candles I received use CR2450 batteries, which means I have to buy a whole set of batteries for these candles alone. I would never order them if the product description was correct. Also, they are too big for a standard (small) votive candle holder, in which ordinary tea lights are placed. This way the candles only go halfway into the candlestick which means I have to buy all new candlesticks just to fit these candles…

Flameless tea lights are very good. The glow and slight shimmer are perfect for a tealight and work really well in the holders we use. The size corresponds to the description and the "flame" moves smoothly and naturally. The color of the candles is not too yellowish or bright white so I think they can be used with soft white or ivory color schemes. After you turn them on, they will burn for 5 hours and then turn off automatically. Then they switch on again automatically after 19 hours. Battery powered candles have never looked real. Some have gotten better with LED technology, but almost all of the newest ones I've seen flicker too much, the plastic "flame" jerking under the action of a magnet while the LED light bounces off it.
