Fits better than expected

I honestly see nothing wrong with that. The packaging of the product was fairly tasteless, but otherwise it fits great and will certainly make my life easier at the next oil change. It might have been the warmth of the oil but when I first applied it it was hard to sling, actually I was hoping! Definitely a life saver for me.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Little things

Do not use on Chevy pickups!

I have seen used cars of this type and they have excellent reviews but unfortunately the oil pan on Chevy pickups does not allow them to be used. Not the fault of this product. I was trying to install it on a 2000 Silverado 2500 6.0L and it hit the oil pan trying to install. The oil plug is recessed slightly into the oil pan, preventing this assembly from being bolted on. The 6.0 liter engine has the same oil pan as the 4.8 and 5.3 liter engines.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A shady purchase for the elderly

I love these oil drain plugs best

I put them on all my cars, saves time and effort when changing oil. Well made, easy to install and use, never had a problem, just want to make sure when mounting them on a sump they aren't hanging down and the lowest place they'll be from something you hit or what You hit, get caught or knocked over, in most cases there are lower structures under your car that can protect against this

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Zero

Absolutely rubbish! in parts

drain plug removed and oil drained. I started unscrewing the new quick dump valve and the threaded end broke off while it was still in my oil pan, leaving the valve itself in my hand. Had to have my truck towed from my house to the garage for the mechanic to remove the threaded end from my oil pan. $65 for towing and then $70 for a 1 hour mechanic to remove the broken part. dear lesson!

Skid Plate on Trailblazer

I had one like this on my Man Truck for years and decided to put it on my 2003 Trailblazer. The valve fits the sump perfectly, but the factory skid plate that covers the sump plug now doesn't quite fit, the valve is too low and hitting the plate. I can tighten both screws, but the plate is clearly deformed. A small price for a simple oil change. These things are worth the investment.- djb

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Something different

Perfect fit for GMC 2014 6.2L, no adapter required (EZ A-107)

The flush valve is durable. I installed it on a 2014 GMC Sierra 6.2L and didn't need the dump valve adapter (EZ A-107) offered on the supplier's website. I also used a 90 degree hose end (EZ L-001), the complete installation protrudes about 3" from the oil pan and still allows access to a 6.2 liter oil filter. Now I can do an oil change every time without an oil baptism.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Will not fit 99 GMC Sierra

Looks well made but does not fit my 99 GMC Sierra without sanding down part of the aluminum oil pan. The threads on it weren't as tight as the factory plug I pulled out. I wasn't comfortable with this, so for lack of a better idea I wrapped the threads in teflon tape, which seemed to help. The dump lever ended up upside down, interfering with the 90 degree spout when dumping is required. Generally not comfortable with it and may replace it with a factory one at the next oil change. Pretty…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Make sure you have the correct part before you drain the oil!

The only reason I had it 1 time was because it didn't fit! The extension I received is the correct thread for my car, but although the packaging said the dump valve was 12 x 1.75, the picture shows that is not the case. Someone may have packed the return or something in the wrong packaging. . Not sure what went wrong but it's very frustrating to drain the oil and realize they sent you two different threads and both said 12x1.75. The photo shows that they are not. Needless to say, I overpaid…

Pros
  • Quality Assembly
Cons
