Well this item seemed like a worthy replacement for the more expensive Miele brand. I was wrong after only a few uses of the cheap plastic knob that locks the telescoping tube in place like it's broken. So I would say: pay more and get the Miele brand, my original metal tube still works. The only reason I bought this unit was to replace one I lost when I moved :-( Live and Learn

I needed a solid metal pipe extension as my original was lost. In any case, it fits and works perfectly for my 15+ Miele Flamenco II. It really fits and sits just right. * You must be careful and patient when unpacking the plastic packaging for the first time (I returned the first order and they sent another one because the plastic pieces broke from mixing, moving and bumping in the shipping box). A great alternative if you don't want to buy original parts.

I bought this to use in place of the electric wand that came with my Miele Compact C2. Looks good, fits my vacuum and 35mm nozzles. Has a good adjustment range. Unfortunately, the black slide switch for adjusting the length has a design flaw. The switch gets stuck in the unlocked position and it takes a lot of fiddling to get it back into place.
