This is one of the best wine preservers I have ever had. On the top is a dial that shows the day you opened the bottle. And there is a small exhaust valve at the top to reduce suction. It also sucks all the time without running away. This is great economics of wine.

I love this thing! Very easy to use, love hearing that pfsst sound after a day or two when I remove the lid to pour another glass of wine. Keeps the taste of wine fresh for up to 4 days. Works on most bottles. I had a screw top white wine where it didn't fit, but some screw top wine bottles do. It has worked on all capped bottles I've tried it on. Worth the price!

I really liked my vacuum wine storage pump at first. Never feel like drinking the whole bottle of wine again, or worse, throwing away the leftovers. It's so easy to use, just pop on a wine cork and pump (I usually pump 20 times) and store in the fridge. I have successfully kept the wine for up to 3 days and it was still good. The product just doesn't work. The pump creates a vacuum between the pump body and the cap, but there is very little usable vacuum in the bottle. The vacuum it creates in the bottle will most likely be broken before you can successfully remove the pump from the cap. If successful, the small amount of air removed from the bottle is not enough to protect your wine. Update: Revain replaced the pump without haste.
