I am very happy with the eraser. You don't need an electric sharpener. You really need a special sharpener and I found the Staedtler "Super Quality Screw Cap Sharpener" to work well. I found it at Revain for $4.

Not very happy with it. Shipped quickly and intact. Doesn't do what I expected based on the reviews. Using regular art pencils in the H and B range and when I go to wash it just doesn't remove the pencil very cleanly. I don't draw much. I tried to add a highlight to the eyes of the drawing but couldn't. Stirred may be better for this. Just not as good as I expected after reading the reviews.

These are the only eraser pencils worth buying. The reason is that they use the Pink Pearl eraser as an insert and it's the only eraser that works cleanly and doesn't smudge the pencil drawing. So for erasing narrow outlines or other delicate erasers, use these erasers. Use the Pink Pearl erasers to erase large areas. To get wet, etc., use blobs of rubber. If you have all three products, you will become the best at erasing.

Excellent erasers! They're great for erasing light colored pencils, but don't completely erase darker colors - hence the 4 stars. What I also don't like is that the sharpener tends to cut off too much wood and then the eraser tip gets a little wobbly. I've learned not to sharpen all the way and then "sharpen" the rest by rotating the eraser as you erase. Overall I am very happy with these erasers.
