Very easy to remove. Lighter colors take time to get dark enough when mixed with water. Basically like watercolors, but if you keep working with them you can make them pretty dark. This worked perfectly for my 4 year old. Later that night she simply washed it off herself. Would like more templates. The stencils worked great but they are very sticky and will stick to a young person's face and hurt when removed. Like a plaster. Beware of that. Still very good value for money and easy to remove.

This is definitely a product for mass use by a crafter (read: mom, teen, etc.) at a party or preschool carnival or similar. It's VERY water based, which is good because it rinses off easily, but bad because it rinses off easily. With just a flick of your wrist, your beautiful creation will almost disappear. I don't normally write reviews, but given that this is a "non-toxic" claim, I would like to say that the package includes Talk, which is for those who don't know, it is very difficult to obtain a source without asbestos contamination! For this reason, talc is considered a carcinogen, but is it added to face paint? For children? I only read the ingredients after we used it once and I'm furious. For the record, face paint is great, but nothing is big enough to risk cancer! Remove your "non-toxic"
