did not expect them to be so soft. I was expecting some texture. If you want something just soft, you'll love it. They have something inside them, so wash them first before use. They fall apart easily but there are several in the pack.

I like that I can throw it away after one use. One side felt a little rougher than the other, but not bad. My only complaint is that I wish they were a little bigger for a more comfortable grip. I will order again.

Facial treatment? More like cleaning a dirty frying pan with caked on dirt. These pads are EXTREMELY rough and will not soften when wet. Not for the face. I gave them to my husband to wash his hands after working on his machines and he even complained about how harsh they were on his skin.

I like them better than my Clarisonic Mia 2. I wet them and turn any cleanser into a gentle/mild scrub. Instead of using the same exfoliating cleanser or bacteria that collect on the Mia attachments, I can alternate them with my favorite cleansers. Since I use this pad (thrown away in 1-1.5 weeks) as the first cleansing step, you can use a second cleanser, toner, serum (AM: Lush Serum; PM: Drunk Elephant TLC Glycolic Acid) and moisturizer to penetrate my skin.
