Don't buy if you don't want to be disappointed!

Installed this switch a month ago, works perfectly. The other day it was running about every two hours and I couldn't figure out why. I checked everything I could to see what made it work. It turned itself off when nothing was plugged into the outlet in the garage. It can't be GFI, I just swapped it. Well, in a pinch, I thought maybe GFI was going bad after just a month. Maybe everything is fine in a very large electrical box

Although the pre-test was successful, when I put it in a small electrical box it appeared to be damaged. when you plug the socket into the electrical box. Obviously this design is not up to the task. I didn't see any signs of surface damage, but after I completed the install, it failed. When tested with a night light, a green light flickered and items in downstream outlets were not receiving power. Revain accepted the return with no problems. Read this if negative reviews bother you.

Most of the negative reviews are from people who think we're living in the 1950's and are trying to wrap screws with wire. That doesn't work anymore; You don't bend the wire to wrap it around the screw, there is a plate under the screw and all you have to do is slip the wire under the plate and then tighten the screw.
