Ideal for travel or handbag

I ordered this item for a trip. I was planning to go to Miami with my family for a long weekend to escape the rainy snowy weather. We were backpacking on a cheap airline, so I packed my bags considerably. This is one of two makeup brushes I brought, the other is tiny for eyeshadow. It is excellent for blushes, bronzers and powders. I love that it has a lid that stays clean and sealed when not in use. Keeps brush clean and protected

I use mineral powder and am afraid of rubbing dirt and dust into my skin. I know that this closed kabuki brush is easy on the bristles and I can take it with me on the go. I love that it absorbs and blends my powder so well.

Beautiful retractable kabuki brush!

Updated review: my first review I think I got a broken brush. The company was great and quickly sent a replacement brush. I'm happy to write that the spare brush is now one of my favorites! I like retractable brushes as they are smaller and not as bulky. You can also conveniently take them with you in your cosmetic bag when traveling. The brush is soft and applies powder perfectly. I'm so glad the company sent me a replacement as it's a great makeup brush. Would happily recommend and buy again…

Great kabuki brush!

I've had my last retractable Kabuki brush in years. I like being able to put the brush in my purse or makeup bag and cover it completely. I know it won't go bad or get dirty because it's fully enclosed. This brush is very dense and soft. It works great and I would definitely recommend it.
