Prevents vent cover from opening fully

I have a Fan-Tastic fan , and I was surprised that you can't fully open the lid underneath. Looks strange as it's the same company that makes the vent fan and vent cover. It's easy to install, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a mechanical flair. Watch YouTube videos and try to collect everything the first time, including something for the litter, like paper towels and old caulk, and something disposable to put a hunting gun on that is weighted so it doesn't get caught in…

Fragile and now broken

I wanted to write this review to share my experience with everyone. My first purchase of a Fan-Tastic vent and cover was so good that I wanted to add a second fan to my setup and get a cover for our third vent. The first non-Revain purchase is still on my rig and looking as good as the day I put it there over 5 years ago! These new coatings faded and became extremely brittle. I couldn't even take them off as the plastic broke into small pieces. And in my opinion they have now become a security…

The U1500 will not work with a Dometic outer frame with molded plastic brackets/pins.

I purchased the U1500BL (Black) for my 2019 nuCamp T@B 320S Boondock Lite camper to use with the Fan-Tastic Fan Model #1450. The vent cover seems to be of very good quality and the black color looked great on my camper. However, I have found that the U1500 will not work with a Dometic roof base that has molded plastic mounting pins and brackets. The product description does not say so. Fits Dometic High Performance Fan

We have a 2019 Keystone Cougar 40ft fifth wheel that came with a Dometic Heavy Duty fan in the kitchen. We needed a cover to keep the fan running during rainy seasons because normally the Dometic rain sensor would close the fan cover at the slightest hint of moisture.
