Very soft and thick. I give 4 stars because it's not one size fits all. I bought two (this one and a unicorn, same seller and brand) and one is bigger than the other. As you can see from the photo, the cribs are exactly the same size!

Got this for my son when he outgrew his baby blanket for about 2 years. He loved it so I bought another one when one was in the wash. They are soft, thick, warm and light. They get washed repeatedly as my son soaks his diders most of the night and so far they are holding up well.

My baby and I love to snuggle up in the fairy tale on this blanket but if you look closely the pictures look a bit odd. I think there's an alien and a brachiosaurus frowning at the thought of the arrowhead comet collapsing. Wonderful ceiling, strange pictures.

This is the perfect size for a 4-6 year old child. My son wrapped himself in it and walked around the house saying it was the best blanket in the world. Haha! It's worth it!

We take this to daycare for my 4 year old son to use while sleeping. It's definitely thicker than most comforters, but fits Bobby well. We have two so we can alternate on a weekly basis, so every Monday there's one freshly washed and one at home to spoil. Both have remained like new after regular washing and drying. Add some fabric softener and this blanket will be a dream come true. I want them to come in king size for me.

The blanket is very cute, my 2.5 year old loves it (Hai anyone?). It's a bit heavier/bulky than I expected. Unfortunately, within the first 24 hours the quilting came undone and I had to use a needle and thread to secure the 8" section. It has held up ever since, including being through the washer and dryer. This is a large blanket that's perfect for a crib or a sofa bed with your little one is suitable.
